2/14/2023 0 Comments Computer noise in headphones![]() ![]() I have yet to use this unit out, but I'm concerned when hooking the outputs to a club PA this weekend that there will be electrical noise blasting out through the club's soundsystem.Ĭould this be because Pioneer opted to use a external wall wart that has 2 prongs (not a grounded 3 prong design)? I'm in the USA and ordered from an authorized US retailer. My second issue is that the sound feels 'harsher' and more overdriven than my other Pioneer gear. Also, when pressing buttons such as "SLIP", I can hear a high pitch noise when the screens and lights on the unit flash to indicate SLIP mode. ![]() This does not happen on my DDJ-RZ, or my older DDJ-SX2 or DDJ-SR. The electrical noise gets a lot more bearable when unplugging the USB. I've switched ports on my computer, even using another Macbook. I've tried different USB cables, including the one that is included. The center screen is great, and love the form factor however compared to all my other Pioneer gear there is a loud electrical buzzing when I connect my Macbook to the unit. ![]() Just got my DDJ-1000 (preordered on the day it was announced). Note: Teams and your computer need to be set. ![]() When you share, all audio from your computer, including notifications, will be included in the meeting. Tl dr - there is a loud electrical buzzing from the headphone jacks To share sound from your computer, select Share content in your meeting controls and then Include computer sound its the switch on the top left of your sharing options. ![]()
